10 Takeaways from the Top Agent Mastermind

In January we hosted a Top Agent Mastermind at the Main Event Center in downtown Nixa. We had the honor of hearing from Coach Perry from the Nixa Football team, Zach Rantz from the Nixa Public Schools, Matt Crouse with the Parks Department, Jimmy Liles with the City of Nixa, Chris Russell with Nixa Chamber of Commerce, and a mastermind with Dan Hold and Adam Graddy, the two top agents in our area.

Here are the Top 10 Takeaways from our Mastermind:

1. Coach Perry spoke about the compounding effect of getting 1% better everyday. It doesn't take a huge sweeping change to make a difference. Wake up everyday and just be 1% better than yesterday.

2. Coach Perry shared the 10/10/ 80 rule. 10% are at the top (achieved Mastery), 10% are at the bottom, and 80% are in the middle. If you are in the top 10% then you are trying to stay on the top, if you are in the bottom 10% then you are looking for a new opportunity, and you want to stay in the 80% because they are always trying to get to the top. STAY HUNGRY!

3. Coach Perry shared the importance of taking care of your health. He talked about how he and his wife are being intentional with their time. They make time for their health and If you don't take care of your health then you won't have the energy to perform.  We all only have so much energy to conquer the day with.  Use it wisely.  

4. Matt Crouse spoke about how the Nixa Parks department has been remodeling McCauley park into an inclusive playground. He spoke about  Movie Nights in the Park and the importance of community events, and how they have land that has been donated to them. They are continuing to add programs to create the way of life that Nixa residence love.

5. The Nixa Public Schools has so many amazing things that they shared with us. It is one of the top reasons that people move to Nixa. They are continually in the top districts in Missouri, have a lot of opportunities for our kids to get involved, and the new AETOS building will be officially opening in February bringing new opportunities to our community and making us a "destination" for the Arts!

6. Chris Russell with the Chamber shared about new businesses coming to town. One of them being the new 14 Mill Market located in Downtown Nixa. This is going to be amazing for our Nixa residents, bringing an economic boost and attracting new people and businesses.

7. Relationships matter! Adam spoke about the importance of relationships. He said that he still follows up with people regardless if they would be able to do business with him or not because they are important to him. By coming from contribution and valuing relationships, everything else falls into place. 

8. Persistency and Consistency win in the long game. Adam spoke about his humble start as a janitor and through his persistency and consistency it led him to where he is today. 

9. Dan and Adam both utilize their databases to the highest caliber. Use a Database. Top agents use a database to be intentional about being in relationship with the people that matter.

10. Dan shared his thoughts on staying in a successful mindset. Success speaks similar language. We heard from several successful people and they all shared similar messages. Be consistent and work to be 1% better.
